Journalism Class Project
Back in September I mentioned a project over a journalist. I have since then completed it and would like to share it with you.
My return
Over the past month that I have been not blogging I have been busy maintaining my grades and other academic passions. I finally found free time in my busy schedule to blog this week. I am very excited to be able to post some of my newest projects to my blog. So in the next week I will be posting the newest project I have to offer.

Journalism Class
This year I have been put in a journalism class. Most of my friends thought that I was put in there because I needed more time to work on my writing. Though I do the basis of the classes writing each time I blogged that was sadly what I thought last week too. This week I was assigned to do a presentation over a historical journalist. I was assigned David Burnett, in thee first day of research I was able to find out that he was a photo-journalist and that he took pictures during the Iranian revolution and that was all just from reading the mini-biography of him on google. So to day I found his website and it was a photo gallery showing off all his works, but at the bottom I found a contact me button and since I was not able to find any other reliable information on David Burnett I decided to email him. I wrote an email to him telling him about my project and about some of the questions I was wondering about him, and he responded he did not only answer my questions he also gave me enough information to make two projects and had some questions for me about journalism and possible pointers for my future. That was my "light bulb" moment and saw that I could be a journalist even though I didn't do well in any of the STAAR practice test. I saw that the state test mean nothing in the future. Your future career is not about what your good at but what you love to do, and I love to report and write so that is my new dream job to become a journalist.

Back To School
It's that time again, the time when we all must go back to school. For me I will be heading into the 9th grade at Steele AHS. I hope to see all of those great projects this year. I would like to open this new semester with a question. What are your goals or plans for this up coming semester?

End of the Year
Seeing how the academic calendar has come to an end I would like to ask the question what School or occupation you will be starting between now and the fall.
Grading Policy Editorial Board
On Tuesday May 26 I was honored with being chosen to help pitch in my thoughts on editing the Northwest Independent School Districts Grading Policy. While I was there we focused on various faults found by students, teachers, and administrators.

Periodic Table Project
My Periodic table of elements project finally is ready to upload...
For those that don't know this project we were supposed to organize something that interests us "the student" and do periodically(just like the periodic table of elements). I did mine going from bad guys to good guys horizontally and by movie vertically.
